4 Day Tour – Kerry and Dingle

 The South West is a must go for visitors coming to Ireland. This area has three main peninsulas, has plenty of bays, coves, cliffs, islands… that form the jagged west coast of Ireland. Get ready to live a unique experience during those four days, to see the wild beauty of Kerry, to breathe the fresh air coming from the Atlantic Ocean, to meet its proud inhabitants with a singing accent, to experience the night life…

Upon your arrival in Ireland, you will be welcomed by your guide and your driver.
– You will head towards Kerry where you will spend the next three days.
– Depending on the time and the airport of arrival, you will do some visits.
– Check in at the hotel in Kerry (Tralee or Killarney)
You will be going towards Dingle peninsula. En route, you will stop to admire and take pictures of it’s distinctive landscapes.
– You will have a longer stop in the colourful port town of Dingle.
– Lunch en route.
You will be driven along the road known as the Slea Head, on 42 kilometres of coast, cliffs, patchworks of green fields. Stop and visit Gallarus Oratory.
– On the way back, you will experience the atmosphere of a pub where you will stop to have a drink the Irish way !

You will start that day with a stop at Killorglin fishery for a short visit and a chance to buy some smoked salmon.
– Depending on the size of the group and the bus, you will be taken either to the North road of the peninsula, or the road through the centre called “Kerry highlands” passing by the village of Glencar.
On the way, you will stop in a bog for a demonstration of turf cutting.
– Lunch en route.
– In the afternoon, you will continue the Ring of Kerry passing by Coomakissta pass and its breathtaking views, the colourful village of Sneem, Moll’s gap, Killarney national Park and its « ladies view », Torc waterfall, Muckross house…
– Back to the hotel.
– Dinner and night.

(This day can take place or not depending on the times of departure)
– You will spend a day in Killarney National Park.
– The bus will first drop you at Kate Kearney’s cottage, at the entrance of the Gap of Dunloe.
– You will go through the glacial valley that is the gap of Dunloe at your choice : either walking or by jaunting cart.
– Lunch en route.
After lunch, the small boats will be waiting for you to cross over the lakes of the park. You will have plenty of time to appreciate the landscapes of the park at slow and relaxed pace!
– You will arrive at Ross castle and will be transferred at Muckross house, the main attraction of the park.
After those stops, you will enjoy some free time in Killarney city.
– Transfer at the airport.
